You’re addicted to camping but when cold weather steps in, you have to debate with yourself whether to endure the cold and the sleepless nights in the tent just to be able to do the thing you love most or be stuck in the house, feeling sad but comfortable in front of the fire place.

Fortunately, cold season does not have to mean bad camping experience anymore. There are ways you can do to ensure that you get yourself a safe and comfortable sleep inside your tent during a camping trip in cold weather.

One way to do just that is of course to bring the right kind of tent. Any experienced camper will tell you that winter camping tents are more suitable in giving you protection from the cold. You can also opt for four season camping tents which are great to be used all year round.

Aside from that you have to equip yourself with a reliable and cozy sleeping bag that offers thermal efficiency as well as insulation. This will be helpful in enabling you to easily doze off to dreamland after a while.

It is also very important that even though you have a sleeping bag, you place a barrier between you and the ground. You can place your sleeping bag or inflatable mattress on top of a foam sleeping pad which will give you utmost insulation.

Be sure to wear warm and comfortable clothing to sleep. Wearing jackets, sweatshirt, jogging pants, socks and hats will give you heat as you doze off to sleep. Drinking hot milk or chocolate before sleeping may also help. This will rid of your inner body chill and calm your senses as you go to sleep. Another thing you can do is to listen to soothing sounds and melodies that will easily lull you to a nice trip to dreamland.

Of course, don’t forget to heat up your tent. Bring a dependable and easy to use heater that is specifically designed to be used in enclosed areas. Such heater like those from Coleman which operates on clean-burning propane, are safe to be used inside your tent. The Coleman ProCat™ Portable Catalytic Heater for example will eliminate the chill in the air and give the inside of your tent a cozy and homey ambiance, enabling you to get your good night sleep.

Having a comfortable sleep is not what you only have to make sure of. More importantly, you have to ensure of your safety at all time even during the wee hours of the night. That is why it is imperative that you practice safety precautions in using heaters. For one, always allow for ventilation. Never seal your tent completely or else risk exposing yourself to Carbon Monoxide which all catalytic heaters emit a trace of. Always leave a vent, window, door even partially open to allow moisture and stale air to flow out and fresh oxygen to circulate back in.

It is also important that you keep your Coleman heater at least two feet away from any object that could be burned or melted even though its flameless heat won’t instantly start a fire. It’s always better to be on the safe side. It is recommended to place your portable heater on top of a cooler so it’s safely off the tent floor and has ample circulation.

Remember that it is strongly recommended that you don’t leave your heater on while sleeping. It’s better that you heat up your tent warm enough and turn it off before sleeping and then turn it back on when you wake up the next morning.

One of the things that make camping a great vacation experience is when you get a comfortable, relaxing and safe sleep.

France offers you an enormous choice of goods, but the quintessential French purchase is clothing, especially designer fashions. If you're on a budget, window shop at the great fashion houses to get a feel of what you want. Then head for the markets and budget shops to do your actual shopping.

Shopping In Paris

Paris is divided into quarters or arrondissements, each with its own shopping opportunities. Marais is the place for elegance, St-Germain for international fashion brands and Montmartre is dripping with romance.

Paris is of course home to the large French department stores, les grands magasins such as Galeries Lafayette and Printemps and you can spend whole days browsing them. But the sheer joy of shopping in Paris comes from visiting the galleries or passages, the 19th-century glass-roofed shopping arcades that just ooze charm and transform rainy days into shopping adventures.

Bear in mind that most stores in Paris close on Sundays which gives you the opportunity to explore one of the city’s many flea markets.

Shopping In Bordeaux

Few people outside Europe realise what a shopper's paradise Bordeaux truly is. There are some of the world's most popular brand names on parade here: Cartier, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Mont Blanc, Christian Lacroix, Rolex and Tartine et Chocolat.

The pinnacle of shopping in Bordeaux is the Golden Triangle of the Allées de Tourny, the Cours de l'Intendance and the Cours Clemenceau. This triangle contains the Place des Grands-Hommes, home to the city's most prestigious shops vending everything from foodstuffs the latest fashions.

You don't have to shell out your last dollar on upscale designer shops, however. There are plenty of cheaper French chain stores here for you to choose from along with countless locally-owned boutiques where you can get something special at a reasonable price.

And of course don't forget the wine. The whole Bordeaux region offer their local vintages for sale by the case and at very favorable prices.

Shopping is one of the great experiences in the UK. However, on the whole prices aren't cheap. Fortunately, discount sales are frequent, virtually a British institution. And if you're from outside the EU, you can get a VAT refund more easily in the UK than any other EU country.

Shopping In London

London is full of stylish shops and grand department stores but for real shopping pleasure, you can't beat the city's many street and flea markets. They're noisy, crowded and you have to bargain hard, but you can't beat them for sheer shopping fun. Here are some of the most famous.

Covent Garden is the grand dame of them all. With a long and colourful past, this West End mainstay is now made up of several markets. Apple Market sells collectible nostalgia including ceramics, leather goods, toys, clothes, hats, and jewelry. Jubilee Market specialises in antiques market on Mondays; the rest of the week it offers budget garments and books.

Coming in close second in the fame stakes is Portobello Market in Notting Hill. Mainly a Saturday event, it comprises three main sections for antiques, fruit and vegetables, and a flea market where locals hawk bric-a-brac and secondhand goods.

Shopping In Manchester

Shopping capital of the North West of England, Manchester is second only to London in the UK shopping charts. And in one way, shopping in Manchester actually outdoes the capital - most of the larger shopping areas are pedestrian-only.

Manchester's main shopping zone lies west of Piccadilly Gardens with traditional shopping outlets, including Harvey Nichols and Selfridges, clustered around Market Street and the Arndale Centre on Corporation Street. Trendy boutiques and designer outlets abound in posh King Street and St Ann's Square.

Shopping In Leicester

Leicester's shopping scene has acquired a new spirit in recent years. The famous Leicester Market with seven hundred years of trading history has been joined by walking streets and vibrant shopping centers.

You have a great choice for shopping in Leicester. Leicester's two major indoor shopping centres - the Haymarket and Shires Centre - are home to the major brand name outlets. Pedestrianised Gallowtree Gate houses the major chain stores while the nearby The Lanes mainly features small independent retailers.

Leicester is also home to Europe's largest covered market. Open from Monday to Saturday, Leicester Market features over 270 stalls. A market has been held on this site since the 14th Century.

For more ethnic wares, head to bustling Belgrave Road, where you'll find Leicester's Golden Mile. This area is thronged with shops, stalls and hawkers selling food, clothes and ornaments from the Subcontinent. Get your fill of spices, silks and saris here.

The Success Story Of A Millionaire Starting From nearly Zero Cent In Her Pocket.

The Success Story Of A Millionaire Starting From nearly Zero Cent In Her Pocket.
By: Andre Lee

Her husband got the idea a few years ago when a friend left the worn out bus in their yard. As the bus could not be used for transport anymore and was abandoned in the couple’s yard, they decided to us it for another function in the small commerce. Mrs. Mala, by all her means, was planning to launch. She had just received a permit forum to sell food items to the public, so she furnished the bus and started selling in it.

She was fortunate to have a piece of wasteland facing the sea of Flic En Flac to park her little restaurant. A fresh smell of the sea helps customers to relax as they wait for their food, and while they eat, they can appreciate the turquoise seawater right across the road. Very relaxing indeed, the newness is enough to make the Mauritian feel like a tourist on his own land. As a matter of fact, many Mauritians on their road to and from Macondé like to stop by and enquire about the strange-looking bus, which at first looks like it has been changed into a house server.

People who go to the sea stop by to eat bread or fried chilies (which the Mauritian Creole called it “gâteau piments”). That lady relates how she receives the visit of tourists and Mauritian passers-by that are curious about the famous bus. One of the thing Mala says she learned when she opened the snack is how to speak to the people to make them spend a pleasant time. She says that friends and relatives living in the area also come to have a chat. What strikes the tourists’ attention is the covering of the Holy pictures that decorate the bus. Jesus is the Lord of lords. “I am very religious, and to me all religions are the same. God is God, no matter what religion you belong to. I say my prayers when I am free. Even in my house there are holy pictures everywhere. I pray mostly to keep myself website in good health”, Mala says.

She windows leaves her house to open the snack after she finishes her housework. What triggered her application for a permit to sell food was her willingness to find a small hobby that would give her a little pocket money. Mala dislikes sitting and doing nothing in the house, she prefers to come out and sell her snacks. Commenting on unemployment, she says that she herself unemployed and was able to make her own little snack, which is working well because it is first and foremost food that people are always looking for advertiser.

“Everyone should do something is his life. I am earning enough with this small business, and I am making small profits. It would be good if those who don’t have anything to do could start a small business of selling in a snack.” She says advertising.

Worse than tsunami publisher

During her maiden years, Mala used to live in Vacoas one of the only town in the midst of the Island of Mauritius, but if you gave her a chance to choose, the village of St Martin would be her favorite. Living by the seaside of Flic En Flac has changed her destiny. With the beautiful sea and people playing carom under the trees in the afternoons and during the weekend, life is much more relaxing and it feels like paradise on earth.

Mala grew up in Vacoas and she really prefers to live here at ads Flic En Flac because it is a more peaceful area. However, living near the coast causes a few anxieties sometimes. With threats of a tsunami or of tidal waves, she is scared that one day the sea may destroy her house.

After the tsunami last year, she has become much fearful that the water level would rise up. However, it was not so bad because she and her family were able to go and watch the big waves by the beach and they are used to the whims of the sea. The recent tidal waves have pushed corals across the road up to her bus. Fortunately her house is further away, but she is still afraid that it gets worse later because the sea looks unreliable. There was wave on Sunday, it had stopped on Monday and then it suddenly caught them by surprised on Tuesday proxy.

Discipline on board of Air Mauritius Flight

Discipline on board of Air Mauritius Flight
By: Andre Lee

You are warned. Fly but don’t get drunk, says Minister.

There is an issue with the number of drunken passengers on Air Mauritius flights, says the Minister of Tourism and External Communication, Mr. Xavier Luc Duval. “They cause problems to other passengers and staff and now Government wants to put into place preventive measures. We intend to have a law that will allow us to prosecute disruptive passengers once they land,” he adds.

However, he says: “We will not ban drinking on our flights; we do not want to change the customer’s experience. Why should we penalize the majority of well-behaved passengers because of a drunken few?” The proposed Civil Aviation (Hijacking and other Offences) (Amendment) Bill, under section 5A reads as follows: Any person who, on board an Aircraft flight – (a) intimidates or threatens a crew member, whether physically or verbally, or uses abusive language against him, or lessens the ability of a crew member to perform his duties; (b) obstructs or hinders a crew member in the performance of his duties; (c) willfully refuses to follow a lawful instruction given by the aircraft commander, or on behalf of the aircraft commander by a crew member, for the purpose of ensuring the safety of the aircraft or of any person or property on board, or for the purpose of maintaining good order and discipline on board, shall commit an offence.

(2) Any person who, on board an Air Mauritius in flight (a) intimidates or threatens, whether physically or verbally another person or uses abusive language against another person; (b) willfully damages or destroys property not belonging to him;(c) is under the influence of an intoxicating drink (i.e. alcohol) or of a drug to such extent as to be incapable of behaving properly, shall commit an offence. One tour Operator believes that the new legislation would be a step towards the right direction. “This is an excellent initiative. The Bill would bring Mauritius in line with other countries, which have laws that offer protection on flights. It is important that at a time when we expect a rise in the volume of tourists, we can assure flight staff a safe working environment.”

The president of the Association of Travel Agencies, Mr. Willy Cheung said: “It is a good piece of legislation that will act as a deterrent. It will protect the cabin crews, and the passengers too.” One steward said: “This new legislation was long overdue. Flight crews have had enough with drunken passengers. They think that we are here to put up with their abuse and ill manners. Not only do they make our job tougher but also they spoil the mood of other passengers. I applaud the Government for this initiative.” An airhostess said: “Dealing with drunken passengers is a cabin crew’s worst nightmare. We must be very initiative to find a diplomatic ways to ask them to stop drinking. We have received training to deal with this issue, but I must confess, it can get quite tiring.

How fine are the cheap travel packages?

How fine are the cheap travel packages?
By: Clint Jhonson

Many people think that the cheap travel packages don’t offer quality service, but they couldn’t be further from the truth. These offers are usually cheaper because more companies get together to make a really good offer to tourists. Smaller business from the travel industry and hospitality industry get together and offer complete vacations for very reasonable prices. The idea behind is to provide good quality prices at affordable prices so that they can please their clients and make a little bit of profit. Most of these deals however are addressed to the people who can be flexible in terms of their schedule.

Usually the best travel bargains can be found at the beginning of the season and at the end of the season. Traveling is usually done by bus, housing is provided in 2 or 3 star hotels and the meals are taken with the whole group in a single restaurant and include little or no alcoholic drinks. You will be surprised how many people take advantage of these offers. They are usually seniors or families with two or more children, but also single people or people who are on a budget but still want to have a memorable vacation.

Travel deals refer to flight deals, bus deals, housing deals, restaurant deals and almost everything else included in the tourism industry. And when all these deals come together to offer the tourist a nice affordable vacation, then one can get one of the best travel bargains of the season. These deals are offered before the summer season or the winter season, but sometimes when the tourism industry thinks the season is “slow” they throw some of these bargains in to help the companies keep on the survival line and still be able to offer great services.

Most of these deals can be found online, but some of the travel agencies in your town might have deals like these too. If you want to get the best travel bargains, you have to do a complete research, to find out the best site where you can book a hotel if you cannot book the hotel directly. When traveling by plane remember that it is cheaper to travel during the midweek and not in the weekend, and if you can purchase such a ticket, you can say you got a bargain flight. It happens the same thing if valid for booking a hotel room or for renting a car if you need one to visit the surroundings.

People say cheap packages and bargain travel when they get a vacation package that still leave them enough money in their account or when they have more money from their vacation budget for having fun and still have quality services for themselves and their families. Cruise ships, family resorts, children camps, and many more branches of the tourism industry offer great travel bargains throughout the year. Some of these deals are offered so that new places can advertise their services and low prices compared to other places in the same area. Most of the time the smaller places or the not so known yet places are the ones that get involved in the vacation packages.

Some of these deals are in the big cities that have agreements with big corporations and don’t have too many rooms occupied in the weekend for example. The resorts usually offer their bargains during the weekdays because most of the people can travel during the weekends. The best travel bargains are usually offered when no major event happens in the area. In these periods and not only you might get free breakfast or free parking included in the accommodation price.

When you find cheap travel packages or best travel bargains make sure you check the offers and all the terms and then you buy it because these kind of deals are usually bought very quickly.
